James J. Unland
Biography
James Unland is a widely published author and veteran 25-year health care investment banker/consultant, as well as the President of the Health Capital Group. The Health Capital Group has assisted hospitals, physicians, provider networks and other types of health care entities with nearly every type of merger, acquisition, reorganization, valuation or other category of restructuring or transition. The firm provides strategic planning services for selected clients when called upon to do so. In addition, Mr. Unland frequently serves as a mediator of disputes, an expert witness in legal cases and an expert in fraud investigations and fraud prevention.
In addition, since 1992 Mr. Unland has also served as Editor of the quarterly Journal of Healthcare Finance, published by Aspen Publishers.
