Under the enthusiastic direction of Mary Bird, Loyola School of Law will partner with the Chicago Training Center this fall to provide after-school support and guidance to inner city high school minority youth. The Chicago Training Center, a not-for-profit organization that launched a pilot rowing program for disadvantaged youth last year, provides after-school training and physical activities for children in an effort to encourage teamwork and discipline. CTC's partnership with Loyola will expand its outreach to Chicago's disadvantage youth by providing academic tutoring here at the law school.
