About

Gail Schnitzer Eisenberg is a staff law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, where she works on criminal and civil appeals. As a law student, Gail was elected Order of the Coif and served as Symposium Editor of the Journal of Law and Social Policy, on the Miner Moot Court Board, as the President of the Moot Court Club, and as a teaching assistant for Prof. Ron Allen. In addition, Gail externed with Judge Joan Humphrey Lefkow of the Northern District of Illinois, the Civil Appeals Division of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Illinois and worked as a student attorney for the Bluhm Legal Clinic’s Children and Family Justice Center. Prior to attending law school, Gail served as a Civic Leadership Fellow at the Anti-Defamation League of Greater Chicago/Upper Midwest Region while earning her master’s degree in political science.
