RA Training Program at Law Library Scheduled for June 1, 2007

Have a job as a faculty Research Assistant this summer? Wondering if you will need new, updated or specialized skills and knowledge to perform up to par? The Law Library wants to help you prepare for this undertaking at a program on June 1, 2007.

In this session, librarians will discuss a variety of techniques and resources that will streamline the research process. Topics covered will include proxy status for RAs, intercampus and interlibrary loan procedures, law library subscription databases, and access to e-journals. We will also introduce federal/Illinois legislative history research, and provide some tips for locating information on international/foreign law topics.

The one hour program will begin at 12:30 pm, in Room 301, 25 E. Pearson. A pizza lunch with soft drinks will be provided. Please RSVP to lhammon@luc.edu by May 29, so we can plan for seating and food. See you there!
