What attracted you to Loyola:
I have always enjoyed living in an urban environment because of the cultural, work and volunteer opportunities it presents Loyola's downtown law school affords students. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to attend law school at Loyola and this scholarship provides tremendous support as I continue my education.

What is the greatest learning experience you have had at Loyola:
All of my professors at Loyola have set very high standards for students. This kind of atmosphere allows students to gain a deep knowledge of the subject matter and makes for great class discussions.

Who inspires you and Why:
My parents have always been my biggest inspiration. My Mom is an elementary school principal and my Dad has worked for the University of Wisconsin for many years.

Extracurricular Activities Hobbies and Interests:
I've played guitar for many years, and as a result, I love playing music with friends. I am also interested in environmental issues and am currently working as an intern at the U.S. EPA.

Community service or other volunteer activities:
I have volunteered with the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless doing advocacy and outreach to impoverished communities in the Chicago area. I have also volunteered at the Cook County Juvenile Detention center where I talked to students about their constitutional rights.

Area of legal interest and or your intended practice area upon graduation:
I am interested in commercial litigation as well as environmental law.
