Leadership Certificate Program
Rationale
For three consecutive years, the Department of Student Leadership Development has sponsored the Student Leadership Institute, a one-day conference held on campus, comprised of keynote speakers and concurrent workshop sessions. Workshop presenters included Loyola students, faculty, staff, and community partners. Student feedback regarding the SLI has been overwhelmingly positive and, in fact, students have increasingly expressed the desire to participate in similar programs throughout the year. Thus, the notion of creating a Leadership Certificate Program for Loyola students was borne.
