More information will come later this summer as fall opportunities become available.

 Additional On-Going Leadership Development Opportunities:

Based on findings from the Multi-Institutional Study of Leadership (Dugan & Komives, 2007), Student Leaderership Development staff encourage students to:

Participate in Student Leadership Development Programs

Explore the Student Leadership Development website to find information about workshops, programs and events. We encourage students to visit our main office in Centennial Forum Student Union LL 42 to meet our staff and find out more.

Engage in Conversations about Socio-Cultural Issues and Social Justice

There are so many ways in which to do this, both informally, and through events and programs. Connect with departments such as Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, Campus Ministry, the Center for Community Service and Action, and many more!

Become Involved in at Least One Student Organization

We encourage students to connect with Student Activities and Greek Affairs (SAGA) and find one or a few organizations in which they can deeply immerse themselves.

Participate in Community Service

The Center for Community Service & Action, the Center for Experiential Learning, and Campus Ministry are here to support students and student organizations in engaging in mutually beneficial service opportunities.

Develop Mentoring Relationships

Students are encouraged to connect personally with faculty, staff and fellow students. Student Leadership Development staff are happy to talk with students about developing mentoring relationships.
