Student Leadership Development

There are so many ways in which students can further develop their leadership knowledge, skills, and behaviors. There is great value in students exploring the many opportunities available to them and committing their time and talents to experiences that they find meaningful. SLD staff members strive to serve as a resource to students, providing information about events, activities, and leadership positions/ opportunities on campus. In addition to our website, SLD sends a newsletter by email every two to three weeks. To sign up to receive this newsletter, the Loyola Leadership Link, please click here.

Our Events and Activities page is updated regularly throughout the academic year with current information about SLD programs, as well as events being offered by other departments or student groups (click on Events and Activities to the right).

During the academic year, our Leadership Opportunities on Campus page (click on link to the right) provides information about leadership positions and roles available in various areas on campus. The opportunities listed here differ in terms of their responsibilities, time commitment, and pay structure, but all can contribute a great deal to the development of knowledge and skills that students can use in their academic, involvement and career-related pursuits. Find all the information you need to plan your leadership and involvement path here. Time-sensitive information (such as application deadlines for positions) will also be highlighted in the Loyola Leadership Link newsletter.
