University Type

Our typographic identity is visible across many applications, including print, electronic and environmental displays. As with other graphic elements, consistency with type is necessary to help establish a strong brand identity. Type selections have been made that best represent our brand. Additional type suggestions are included to help achieve coordinated and consistent material.

Serif type is the preferred for headlines while sans-serif works best for subheads and body copy. It's best to use a standard typographic look and stick with it.

Primary serif typeface: Minion
PC Alternate font: Times New Roman The Minion typeface family is used in the University's name as it appears in the University logo. Minion Expert is the preferred font for headlines.

Primary sans-serif: Myriad
