Alums Help Piece together Loyola History

The Loyola History Project, an engaging book written by historian Ellen Skerrett for Loyola’s 100th anniversary as a university in 2009, continues. Several alumni generously responded to the call for archival materials in a recent issue of Loyola magazine.

Contributing basketball and variety show programs, student government campaign materials, student directories, photographs, letters, and more were Paul Stewart (BS ’63, MSW ’65), Joseph Weber (BBA ’55), Tony Wappel (BA ’84), Kathleen Richards (BS ’63), James F. Palka (BA ’72), and Susan Siudzinski Mayer (BS ’61).

To make a donation of materials, contact Kathy Young, university archivist, at Cudahy Library, Room 218, Loyola University Chicago, 6525 N. Sheridan Road, Chicago, IL 60626, 773-508-2661, archive@luc.edu.
