Institute of Pastoral Studies Distinguished Visiting Professors Evelyn Eaton Whitehead, a developmental psychologist, and James D. Whitehead, a pastoral theologian and historian of religion, recently presented “Nourishing the Spirit: Religious Studies and the Study of Religion in China Today” as part of Loyola’s popular Chapel Series. The series brings distinguished Catholics from diverse fields to Loyola to encourage dialogue on pressing issues in today’s church.
