Continuum, a non-credit program being launched this fall by the School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS), will provide Chicago-area alumni and others with an opportunity to explore new professional and personal topics of interest.
“These courses will allow our graduates to reconnect with campus life, stay a part of Loyola and experience learning for its own sake,” says Jeffrey Rosen, Ph.D., dean of the SCPS. “They’re also the perfect opportunity for people interested in changing careers to explore new professional options and directions.”
Continuum courses, which are accessibly priced, require no tests and are not graded, range from professional development classes to foreign language courses to topics of local interest.
Subjects include philosophy, biotechnology, fiction, computer science, entrepreneurship and management, as well as topical workshops for educators and social workers seeking Continuing Education Units. Instructors include University faculty, advanced graduate students and community professionals. To learn more about Continuum non-credit offerings, visit www.luc.edu/ continuum or call 312-915-6501.
