Kenneth Johnson, PhD, professor of sociology, was recently named Loyola Faculty Member of the Year in recognition of excellence in teaching and research. An expert on Chicago’s demographics and active member of Loyola’s Center for Urban Environmental Research and Policy (CUERP), Johnson is frequently called upon by the media, individual members of Congress, and various Congressional entities to offer advice on demographic policy issues.
