You can amplify the power
of your gift to Loyola—
at no cost to you.
Check out the matching gift program to see whether your company offers matching gift benefits. It’s an easy way to increase the scope of your support—usually doubling and sometimes tripling the original gift amount.
“During fiscal year 2007, the number of matching gifts received was on the rise. We received almost $200,000 of contributions the University might otherwise not have had, thanks to the matching gift program,” says Jessica Bassis, annual giving officer. “Our alumni, parents, and friends love matching gifts because they can make a bigger impact on today’s Loyola students.”
You may also be able to match the same gift through your spouse’s employer. If you or your spouse works for a company that matches gifts, fill out the company’s required paperwork—usually,
a simple form—and your gift to Loyola will go even farther.
If you are interested in promoting the matching
gift program to other LUC alums working at your company through our Corporate Agent Program,
or if you have any questions regarding matching gifts, contact Jessica Bassis at jbassis@luc.edu
