Queen of St. Patrick’s Day
Julie Anne Venci, a first-year intern in a Stritch School of Medicine residency program in internal medicine and pediatrics, was named Chicago’s 2007 St. Patrick’s Day Queen. Venci’s mother, Josephine Dunleavy Venci, who hails from County Mayo, Ireland, had secretly entered her daughter’s name in the contest for queen.
