sba partners with indian jesuit college

The SBA and Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), a Jesuit college in Jamshedpur, India, have begun forging a mutually beneficial partnership.

The agreement will facilitate faculty and student exchanges between the two schools, as well as promote collaborative research and conferences on mutually selected subjects of international interest. Loyola and XLRI have established an Indo-U.S. professorship of management, a one-year position jointly funded by the two institutions. In addition, a program of one-year joint research professorships will allow faculty members from both schools to study global business using both institutions’ resources.

Future plans also include sponsoring a joint MBA degree and executive education seminars.

Highly ranked for its graduate business and human resources programs, XLRI is about the same size as the SBA, and offers satellite instruction through campuses in Dubai and Singapore. Loyola plans to send visiting faculty members to these locations as well as to XLRI’s main Indian campus.
