Loyola Partners

Loyola Partners is a bridge between Loyola University and seven community groups in the Rogers Park, Edgewater, Evanston and Uptown Communities near Loyola's Lake Shore Campus. Loyola Partners supports these community groups' efforts to promote jobs, literacy, new skills, affordable housing, educational opportunities, and new hope to these neighborhoods. In turn, our partners offer Loyola faculty many opportunities for developing innovative service-learning courses and Loyola students marvelous opportunities for experiential, social justice-oriented learning.
Liason and Consultation Services
We consult with Loyola faculty and students and share our information regarding our partners' programs and volunteer needs as well as information regarding the wide array of community organizations beyond those of our partners. Likewise Loyola Partners stands ready to help our partnering organizations and other community organizations engage the University community and try to see what possibilities exist for matching their program and volunteer needs with faculty interests and students seeking service-learning opportunities.
University and Jesuit Community Support
Loyola Partners is sustained by the generosity of Loyola's Jesuit Community and Loyola's Magis Program, whose aim is to facilitate service learning opportunities for Loyola's students.
