For Students
Loyola Partners for Students
Chicago is a remarkably dynamic urban center marked by marvelous cultural and racial diversity and tremendous opportunities, but also marked by communities that experience truly grave need. Internships and service-learning work with community organizations making a real difference in peoples' lives can be among the most rewarding experiences of one's college career. The Magis program is a great resource for identifying service learning courses being offered every semester at Loyola. Likewise Loyola's Center for Urban Research and Learning (CURL) has a wealth of information about Chicago community organizations and offers a major and minor in Urban Studies to Loyola undergraduates. Loyola Partners is happy to consult with students regarding the programming and volunteer opportunities offered by our seven Community Partners as well as a wide range of other Chicago community organizations.
