Contemporary Arabic Calligraphy by Nihad Dukhan

September 25 – January 16, 2010

Arabic calligraphy is an expression of the Islamic spirit, and different classical styles of the letters offer a calligrapher unlimited possibilities. To provide a postmodern interpretation of Arabic letters, Nihad Dukhan created the contemporary designs in this exhibition using classical styles to create an abstract yet readable representation of words.
