LUMA Home

LUMA offers many options for getting involved with the museum in addition to becoming a member or providing corporate/foundation support:

Naming Opportunities

A naming gift to the Loyola University Museum of Art (LUMA) provides a higly visible, timeless tribute to an individual or individuals whose life deserves recognition and commemoration. A variety of areas inside the museum remain available for dedication. Each dedication will be recognized in the appropriate locale, and the name of the benefactor included on The Founder's Wall located in the museum's beautiful main lobby. Gifts may be made by a pledge and are payable over a number of years. Click here to view the naming list page.

Volunteer Opportunities

We all know how valuable museum volunteers and docents are—dedicated people making a commitment to provide the backbone of many museum services. LUMA wants you to be involved and offers two options for volunteering.

Docent Opportunities

Docents receive training for interpreting LUMA's permanent collections and exhibitions to provide the best experience possible for our Museum's visitors. Being a docent is part of life's continuing education as well as a wonderful way to make new friends with similar cultural interests. For information on becoming a docent, please call Ann Meehan at 312-915-7604.

Museum Positions

Do you have a flair for design and sales? Perhaps our LUMA Museum Shop is the spot for you. Love to get things organized? Then you'd enjoy working in our offices. Are you the "great communicator?" We need you at our front desk! For information on becoming a museum volunteer, please call Ann Meehan at 312-915-7604.
