This creche was made by Siwok Crafts of the Wichi Indians from Argentina, who have lived in the Chaco forest for thousands of years. Their traditional woodworking skills has supported them by providing work to over 100 Wichi families in order to generate income and preserve their culture. Siwok, being the Wichi word for woodpercker, has become the symobl of the Wichi woodcarvers. 1 piece. 4 1/4” h. Fair Trade Product.
