Founded in 1981, this piece was created by the Holy Land Handicraft Copperative Society which encompasses Palestenian artisans working in the occupied territories of the West Bank of the Jordan River.  Their work alleviates poverty, increases employment, and strengthens the local community, all while preserving their traditonal ways of creating wookdwork. 2” h. Fair Trade Product.
