Information Technology at Loyola: Information Technology Services
Departmental Labs
Department computing labs are open to all Loyola students, with priority to students enrolled in Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science courses. Currently there are three Math/Stat computing labs:
- DH 339: Windows Lab: This lab contains 20 PCs running Windows XP and the standard Math/Stat/CS software bundle.
- DH 341: Linux/Wireless Zone: This lab has 8 PCs running the Linux operating system. You are welcome to request a Linux account and explore the alternative world of Open Source Software. This lab is also equipped with wireless and ethernet access for students with laptops.
- DH 342: Windows Lab: This lab contains 30 PCs running Windows XP and the standard Math/Stat/CS software bundle.
The Department of Computer Science maintains computing labs in Lewis Towers 410/411 on the Water Tower Campus, running the same software bundle. These labs are available to Math/Stat students.
