Master of Science in Supply Chain Management Overview

Supply Chain Management involves the complex challenges of moving goods globally, on time and on budget, to ensure they arrive when and where they should. The Master of Science Program in Supply Chain Management develops key competencies in all the major areas of supply chain management, such as purchasing, transportation, logistics, distribution, warehousing for operations in both the domestic and global supply chains. Our graduates not only have the necessary technical skills, but are also skilled in strategy, problem solving and real world applications.

The program is designed for individuals who wish to acquire technical expertise and management skills to start or accelerate a career in supply chain management. The graduate courses not only provide a broad view of the supply chain functional areas, but also develop technical and managerial understanding in the advanced topics. The various skills learned in these courses culminate in a comprehensive Capstone course which provides the students a final, overarching analysis of supply chain management.

The Master of Science in Supply Chain Management (MSSCM) program at Loyola University Graduate School of Business is one of the few specialized degree programs in its area in the nation, and the only one offered by an AACSB accredited institution in the Chicago area.
