MBA Healthcare Management - Admission

Before applying to Loyola University's Graduate School of Business to earn an MBA in Health Care Management, students must meet specific requirements. Because admission is limited, we encourage students to apply early and fulfill testing and recommendation requirements promptly.



Typical candidates for enrollment are working professionals in the health care area, who have chosen to advance their career through a graduate degree from an accredited health care management school.
Loyola’s MBA Health Care Management Requirements for Admission

Loyola requires the student to present a completed package to be considered for admission:

  • Completed admission application with application fee (application fee waived for online submission
  • Student’s statement of purpose
  • One set of official transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended
  • Two letters of recommendation from appropriate health care professionals
  • A letter of support from your current employer to participate in this rigorous program
  • GMAT test scores or a letter requesting a GMAT waiver for applicants who have 7 years of relevant work experience. GMAT is waived for applicants who hold a doctoral degree
  • Current resume detailing at least 5 years of relevant professional work in the health care industry
