We invite you to apply to any of our terms (fall, winter, spring, or summer). Once we receive all required application materials, please allow two weeks for an admission decision. Early applications are strongly encouraged.

Application Instructions: Degree-seeking and Non-Degree-Seeking

You must submit:

• A Completed Application Form

• Official Transcripts
  Applicants must submit official transcripts for all undergraduate and any graduate work. To be eligible for admission, your transcript must show an earned bachelor's degree or a bachelor's degree in progress. Certified copies of transcripts are acceptable; faxed copies of transcripts are not considered official. If you attended Loyola University Chicago previously, you do not need to request transcripts; we have them on record.
• Two Letters of Recommendation
  If you supply your recommender's e-mail address as part of your completed online application form, then your recommendation letters may be submitted online. Or, your recommenders may choose to mail them to:

  We ask that you submit only two letters, no more, no less. Recommenders may be academic or professional in nature.
• A Statement of Purpose
  Please discuss how the Graduate School of Business at Loyola University Chicago and our focus on responsible leadership will prepare you for your future career and why you have chosen this program. Your statement should be 2 - 3 pages in length, double-spaced.

• Test Scores
  Official GMAT or GRE scores must be submitted directly from the testing service. Applicants to Learn more about the GMAT at www.mba.com or the GRE at www.ets.org/gre
  
  GMAT/GRE Waiver: Applicants with 7 or more years of progressive managerial experience may request a GMAT/GRE waiver. To do so, you must submit a packet that includes all of the following: a 1-page letter highlighting your managerial achievements, a current resume, and official transcripts. We encourage you to apply for the GMAT/GRE waiver prior to submitting your application for admission. Your packet should be mailed to:

• Application Fee
  A $50 application fee is required for applications submitted by mail. If you complete the online application form, the application fee is waived.

Application Instructions: International Students

Applicants may be required to submit additional materials:

• Language Test Requirement
  An official TOEFL or IELTS score report is required for international applicants whose native language is not English. Copies and faxes are not accepted as official documents; we must receive test scores directly from the testing service. The minimum acceptable total score on the Internet-Based Test (IBT) of the TOEFL exam is 90. The minimum acceptable total score on the IELTS exam is 6.5.
  
  This requirement is waived for those who have completed a four-year U.S. bachelor's degree program or those who are citizens of or have completed a bachelor's degree at a recognized institution at which the language of instruction is English in these countries: Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
• Transcript Evaluation
  Applicants who completed post-secondary education abroad are required to submit non-U.S. transcripts to Educational Credential Evaluators, Inc. (ECE) for evaluation of credentials. You must request a course-by-course transcript evaluation, and it must show that your non-U.S. education is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree to be considered for admission.

• Letter of Good Standing from Current Institution
  A letter of good standing from your current director or academic advisor is required. This letter should indicate your standing in the program and articulate the courses you must take at Loyola University Chicago. Additional information may be required.

All academic programs in the Graduate School of Business are on the quarter system, and new students begin during all quarters.
