Accountancy (M.S.A.):

The Master of Accountancy degree program is designed to help students develop theoretical skills, along with the practical business decision-making abilities needed to succeed in today's fast-paced business environment. Students typically come from undergraduate programs in accounting and business, or are working professionals seeking to enhance their skills for promotion within the field. The M.S.A. enables students to meet the additional credential requirements for certified public accountants that most states have instituted over the past several years.

Accreditation:

Loyola's Graduate School of Business is accredited by the prestigious Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).

Admission:

Loyola's GSB offers rolling admission, allowing students to enroll at four points throughout the calendar year (August, November, February and May).

Alumni:

Our business alumni network in Chicago is vast, numbering more than 15,000. GSB alumni have reached the highest roles of leadership with industry giants like Abbott Laboratories, Baxter International, Inc., McDonald's Corporation, Motorola, R.R. Donnelly & Sons, U.S. Cellular and Wal-Mart, among others.

Career Services:

The Career Management Services offers resume assistance; job search resources, including online job banks; interview skills assessment; employer presentations and recruiting events; career fairs and workshops; networking receptions; and career counseling services.

Class Schedules:

The majority of classes at Loyola's GSB are offered in the evenings, and occasionally courses are offered on weekends.

Ethics Focus:

The GSB has demonstrated a commitment to ethics in the curriculum for more than 35 years. We are one of the few graduate schools of business in the country that offers a Graduate Certificate in Business Ethics.

Faculty:

Comprised of internationally acclaimed experts, GSB faculty members successfully combine professional experience and applied research with innovative and engaging classroom instruction, offering students the most contemporary and comprehensive education possible.

Financial Assistance:

Graduate and professional students may be eligible for various types of financial assistance, including federal financial aid.  Limited department scholarships, assistantships, and alternative student loans are also available.

Human Resources (M.S.H.R.):

The Master of Science in Human Resources degree program emphasizes such areas as problem-solving skills, organizational behavior and employment law, and offers specializations in human resource management, employment relations, and organization development.

Integrated Marketing Communications (M.S.I.M.C.):

The Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications degree program combines contemporary marketing communication theories with experiential, hands-on problem-solving projects to give students a broad understanding of the new and evolving ways that companies are promoting their products and services to customers.

Location:

Just off North Michigan Avenue, Chicago's Magnificent Mile, at 1 East Pearson St., Loyola's GSB is easily accessible by the CTA, Metra or Pace, or by car. The Loyola shuttle bus is also available to take students to the various train stations immediately following evening classes.
