Undergraduate Studies Catalog
Loyola's military science program prepares students for service as commissioned officers on active duty or in the reserve components of the U.S. Air Force, Army, or Navy. The R.O.T.C. adds practical management training and leadership experience to any course of study within the university. The military science program seeks those undergraduate interested in combining a period of service to the nation as a military officer with enhanced preparation for eventual civilian occupational pursuits.
Through an agreement with Les Aspin Center of Marquette University in Washington, D.C., Loyola undergraduate students may participate in a semester internship program in the nation's capital. Opportunities are available for students to gain experience by working in the offices of members of Congress, social policy think tanks, administrative or judicial departments, or others of your choice. Opportunities for summer internships are also available. Contact Dr. John Pelissero at 773-508-3066 for more information.
