The Collegiate 4th

"Living the 4th" in the Ignatian Tradition

Coordinated by the Ignatian Spiritual Life Team and CLC, the Collegiate 4th is the opportunity for students from across campus to share their faith journeys in an evening of retreat, reflection and community.

The Collegiate 4th is founded in the tradition of "4th Day" retreats such as KAIROS, Search, TEC, etc... ALL students are welcome and it is not necessary to have previously attended one of the previous retreats to enjoy The Collegiate 4th. The Collegiate 4th meets twice per semester and reflects upon the following Ignatian spiritual development themes:

  • Finding God In All Things
  • Being Women and Men For Others
  • Obstacles to God's Love
  • Living the Magis

The dates for the Fall Semester 2008 meetings are Fridays October 3rd & November 14th. The Collegiate 4th will gather in the Simpson Multi-Purpose Room for a simple meal at 6pm. The evening will follow with a speaker on the evening's theme, some personal and small group sharing and a large group closing prayer.
