Christian Life Communities
CLC's are groups of friends who gather weekly for an hour to pray and reflect on Scriptures, Ignatian Spiritual Exercises, poetry, and share their spiritual journeys. Visit their website for more information.
Chinese Bible Study
Join us for Chinese Bible Study Saturdays at 7pm at the Maguire Center. For more information contact nchmela@luc.edu.
Lenten Taizé Prayer
The Lenten Taizé Prayer at the WTC provides an opportunity for the community to be nourished as we gather for a meal and prayer in a contemplative setting filled with song, scripture, and silent meditation. The music of Taizé is repetitive and chant-like. The simple melodies wed to simple texts enable you to easily enter into the prayer and enter into a place of profound meditation.
Every Tuesday during Lent from 5:00-7:00 p.m., the Department of Ministry and Sacramental Life will offer 2 hours of Taizé prayer and simultaneously offer a simple meal of soup and bread on the 3rd floor of the Terry Student Center in rooms 303 and 304. All are welcome to come and go freely according to their own schedule. For more information please contact Nicole Chmela at nchmela@luc.edu.
