All retreats are co-sponsored with Evoke.

A retreat for first-year students who are invited to begin exploring gifts, curiosities, and talents. This retreat will help to identify what stirs the deep gladness within your heart. This retreat includes group discussion, art, meditation, and downtime.

Character. Community. Change.  - February 19-21, 2010

Identity in faith, the community in faith, and growing in faith.
Type: Christian, Weekend.
Location: Camp Manitoqua, Frankfort, IL.

Character, Community, and Change is a Christ-centered retreat exercised from common Christian values. Catholic and Protestants alike are welcome and encouraged to come. The retreat is sponsored by our Protestant Ministries and is lead by peer students from diverse Christian backgrounds within our rich tradition. The retreat will include student testimonies, Bible reflection, worship, prayer, and fellowship.

Busy Students' Retreat - March 21-25, 2010

Type: Christian, Undergraduate, Weeklong.
Cost: $15. Apply here.

An individually guided on-campus retreat experience (Sunday through Thursday evening) in which students pray on their own and meet once a day with a spiritual companion. Meetings are set around your class schedule, and Scripture based reflection materials are provided.

Spring Day of Prayer - March 20, 2010

Type: Christian/Ecumenical, Undergraduate/Alumni/Friends, Daylong 9am-3pm.
Cost: $15.
 

Ministry and the Alumni Association are co-sponsoring this day of reflection in the newly renovated Madonna della Strada Chapel and in Loyola's newest and greenest building, the Klarchek Information Commons. The entire Loyola community - alumni, students, parents, faculty and staff - are welcome to this day of ecumenical prayer. The retreat will include personal reflection, small group faith sharing, as well as silent, spoken and sung prayer in the spirit of the Taizé community, an ecumenical pilgrimage site in France. Come and restore yourself. Enjoy some quiet time on the shores of Lake Michigan. The cost covers the cost of meals.

Senior Retreat - May 9, 2010

All seniors are invited to attend a retreat, which allows time for reflection, prayer, sharing memories, and naming hopes and dreams for the future. This retreat provides a space for beginning the transition of leaving college and bringing your relationship with God, your community, and family with you on the journey.

Silent Ignatian Directed Retreat - January 3-8, 2010 (Winter Break)

Cost: $175.

The Silent Ignatian Retreat is an opportunity for mature undergraduate and graduate students who desire a truly alternative Spring Break. In a rural setting, these days are a "time-out" from our often hectic lives, offering the chance to become more deeply self-aware. Faculty and staff may also attend.
