Ignatian Service Project: Friday, July 26, 2013
In honor of the feast day of St. Ignatius of Loyola (July 31st) Loyola staff, faculty, and retirees will volunteer at Misericordia in Rogers Park and at Catholic Charites Early Childhood Development Centers on Friday, July 26. Full details on the service projects, departure times, and transportation will be available at the registration page, after June 1st. Registration is open through Friday, July 12th.
We also will conduct an on-campus supply drive in the weeks before the service day. Collection boxes will be available at all campuses gathering these materials for Catholic Charities Early Childhood Development Centers.

On Wednesday, July 31, we will celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Ignatius of Loyola with a Mass in Madonna della Strada Chapel at 11 a.m. All are welcome. For those interested in singing in the choir at Mass, please contact Steven Betancourt at sbetancourt@luc.edu. Rehearsal will begin at 10 a.m. on July 31 in the MDS Chapel. The annual picnic follows the Mass on the East Quad outside the Information Commons beginning at 12:15 p.m.
At this year's picnic, we will have Loyola Games 2013. The events will include: trivia quiz, three-legged race, water bucket relay, and a water balloon toss. To register a team of four for the events,
