Advertising

The Journal of the Midwest Modern Language Association is a peer-reviewed journal that is published twice a year in the Spring and Fall. The Journal has been in existence for over 50 years and has a readership that is comprised of literature and language professors and graduate students, librarians, high school teachers, creative writing professors and film scholars.

Advertisments may be placed in the Spring and Fall issues of the Journal of the Midwest Modern Language Assocciation. All ads must be submitted camera-ready. The rates and deadlines are as follows:

Spring and Fall Journal Issues

Price: Full-Page - Black and White Only - $250 (we only accept full-page ads)

Ad size: 4 1/2" x 7"

Resolution: 300 dpi or higher

File Format: Portable Document Format (PDF) with fonts embedded

NOTE: If the attachment is to large for your email system, it is recommended that you setup a free account with, YouSendIt, and use their internal email tool to send the uploaded file to mmla@luc.edu.

Deadline for Spring Journal: Every March 1st

Deadline for Fall Journal: Every September 1st

Submission Procedures

To submit advertisements, do the following:

  1. Send an email to mmla@luc.edu indicating which issue you want your add to run in and include your camera-ready advertisement as an attachment.
  2. Have your check made payable to: Midwest Modern Language Association, and send it to:
