About Us

There is no special requirement for admission to the online RN-to-BSN program at Loyola University Chicago's Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing. Since we acknowledge an associate degree in nursing (ADN) or a diploma from a recognized institution and your professional development, you can look forward to completing the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in a minimum of three semesters.

Our online RN-to-BSN program accepts up to 66 transfer credits for RN-BSN Core requirements and nursing courses. We award up to 25 credit hours for prior learning through a professional nursing e-portfolio. This program structure is particularly suited for nurses looking to advance their professional careers. We also offer online elective courses for those who need to complete additional credits.
