Degree Programs

Degree: Ed.D. in School Psychology
This program is designed for practicing school psychologists who wish to advance their careers through the pursuit of a targeted doctoral degree. Reflecting current realities and anticipated future directions of practice, this translates into an Ed.D. program with two defined tracks (each student would select one of these two tracks)-Mental Health and Data-Based Decision-Making. For students who choose the Mental Health track, the primary program emphasis would be on developing the student's clinical skills and taking pertinent course-work that leads to eligibility as a licensed professional counselor (LPC). This 72 semester hour program can be competed in two years on a part-time basis. Courses may be on-line or on campus on Saturdays.

Degree: M.Ed. in International Higher Education
Loyola’s Master of Education in International Higher Education is a collaboration between Loyola’s Higher Education and Cultural & Educational Policy Studies / Comparative International Education programs. This degree will provide students with deep knowledge of the changing landscape of higher education globally and will prepare them to work in multiple areas including higher education policy, administration, international student affairs, and study abroad. This 36 credit hour program includes a mandatory internship field experience and will conclude with a capstone portfolio. All courses are online with two exceptions: one course is taught at Loyola’s Beijing Center and another is taught at Loyola’s Rome Center.

Degree: M.Ed. in Organizational Evaluation
Loyola's Master of Education in Organizational Evaluation prepares individuals for roles as evaluators and change agents. The 34 semester hour program is a strong choice for individuals starting their careers as well as those who may already have an advanced degree and are looking to augment their credentials and improve their marketability. The program is also ideal for professionals who are currently employed in social service organizations, private foundations, research firms, and human resources or training departments. Courses from Loyola's School of Education and the Graduate School of Business will provide students with an interdisciplinary perspective. This program will have a blended format with a number of courses being offered online and others at our Cuneo Campus in Vernon Hills, IL.
