Master of Arts: The M.A. in Spirituality, offered by Loyola's Institute of Pastoral Studies (IPS), offers concentrations in Spiritual Direction and Contemporary Spirituality. Students may complete all or part of the 36-hour degree program through online courses. The structured online curriculum emphasizes five areas of study: foundations of spirituality, biblical foundations, theological foundations, psychological foundations, and practical field experience.
The U.S. Department of Education requires any institution offering distance education/online programs to students outside of its home state to acquire authorization from the states in which students reside.
