West Lawn is a diverse neighborhood
where you can find a variety of different restaurants. It is home
to Tatra's, which is one of the best Polish smorgasbords that
Chicago has to offer. Another interesting feature that West Lawn
has is giant Indian statue atop a cigar store at 63rd street and
Pulaski. The Indian has made his way into more than one feature
film.
West Lawn Park is a family favorite
place to go seeing that it has a baseball field and an ice skating
rink among other facilities. Single family homes in West Lawn
range from $36,000 to $205,000. West Lawn is bounded by 59th and
75th Streets, and the Grand Trunk Western railroad tracks at 3600
West and the city limits of Cicero Ave.
