Biography:
Ed first heard about Advocate when he was searching through the activities pamphlet that first-year students are given at orientation. Seeing that Loyola had a GLBTQ organization was a big relief for him when he started out here. Every since then, he has attended meetings and greatly enjoyed the time he hasspent with Advocate. Next year he will be the Co-chair of Advocate’s “Safe Space” program in which he will be training various Loyola staff members on how to create a more comfortable environment for GLBTQ students.

Future Goals:
Ed's goals for his future involvement in Advocate concern the safe and comfortable environment on campus that he hopes to continue. Loyola’s accepting environment is what keeps many students here. To lose this would be devastating to the student body. He wants to work so that this campus remains the “safe space” that it is by educating Loyola staff on how to form such an environment.
