Jake Giles- Vice President, Safe Space Coordinator

Biography:
Jake Giles is currently a freshman at Loyola University Chicago. He was born in Peoria, Illinois and has lived in various places throughout his life, including Kansas City and California. He joined advocate this year as a new incoming student and hopes to do everything he can to make it a vital part of Loyola's campus. He is very passionate about gay rights and gay-related issues in general.

Highlights of Service:

• Worked on GLBTW Awareness Week during the Fall of 2006
• Attending Hedwig and the Angry Inch at the Music Box Theatre
• Random group trips to Chipotle

Future Goals:
Jake would like to become a music journalist for a major publication.
