Lauren Harris
My name is Lauren Harris. I have been a member of AED since my sophomore year at Loyola. I am currently the newsletter chair. I have
enjoyed writing our biweekly newsletter and participating in the many events that AED has to offer. This year I helped with the planning for Dance for Chicago, organizing our participation in Loyola Gives and assisting the other board members wherever they have needed help or support.

I am running for the Community Service Chair. I think I have a lot of wonderful qualities to bring to this position as well as many new ideas.
I really love working with people and I think that is a very important part of being a good community service chair. I will devote my time to getting to know all of you and I am hoping to develop more long-term and short-term community service opportunities for our members. One of the goals of Alpha Epsilon Delta is promote service within our organization and the surrounding community. With this goal in mind I am hoping to build better relationships with the Ronald McDonald House, Chicago area hospitals and other non-profit organizations. I think we should be actively involved with serving the Loyola and Chicago communities and I am hoping you will join me in pursuing it!
