Lukas Alexopoulos
Hello! My name is Lukas Alexopoulos. I am currently a junior and I am running for the Public Relations position of AED for the 2009-2010 school year. I am a Biology Major with a Business Minor and I am pursuing a career in medicine. As public relations chair, I would keep tabs of the AED site, send out the club emails, and spread the word campus-wide for events. I feel qualified in fulfilling the duties of the position as I am friendly and actively involved in five clubs on campus, allowing me to better advertise our events. I am also secretary of two organizations on campus, HSA and Tri-Beta, where it is my job to send out group emails and spread the word for events as well. I already have the experience required for the position and would love the opportunity to build on it by being elected next year. I am organized, responsible, and have a good understanding of the way the position and AED work. If I were elected, I would bring in my experience and knowledge to the club to make it the best that it has been in the three years I’ve been an active member. I look forward to the opportunity of serving you as your Public Relations chair next year and would appreciate your vote!

James Tasch
I would like to run for the public relations position. I am a junior
with a biology major and i am in my 2nd semester of being an active
member of AED. This fall, I plan to become a national member. I have
participated in many events, such as the Aids run/walk and a halloween
door decoration for the neighborhood children. I have been at close to
every meeting this past year and now would like to become even more
involved with AED by taking on this leadership role. I will perform
every assignment I am given in an quick, orderly fashion. I hope you
