Tom Grawey
My name is Tom Grawey and I'm running for Vice President of Alpha Epsilon Delta. This year in AED I served as the Pre-health committee chair for AED and set up some events such as the EMS experience in the fall, the Podiatry speaker, and the upcoming physical therapy presentation. As Vice President, I believe I can do a lot more to make AED an all encompassing organization. Currently, a sort of rivalry exists between AED and other organizations related to various health care fields. I envision AED as the Honor Society that unites all of these various organizations and will do my best as Vice President to accomplish this vision. I will do this by meeting with representatives from other organizations to try to sequence all of our events together and will also spend time reaching out to other pre-health organizations to get the word spread about AED. The fundamental principles in Healthcare today are related to doctors, nurses, physician assistants and other allied health staff all working together to provide the best care for a patient and I will do my best to help AED promote this vision at the undergraduate level.
