Shalom from Hillel at Loyola!
HILLEL
at Loyola University Chicago extends a warm welcome to you!
Hillel is the organization of Jewish students and faculty at Loyola and
one of the university's most active student groups. We provide
the opportunity for Jewish students to meet each other, meet and
exchange ideas with Jewish faculty, and be active participants of the
Loyola community.
We
do this through a wide variety of programs on campus and off - such as
holiday celebrations, guest speakers, discussions, classes, parties,
faculty/student luncheons, participation in university-wide activities
and more. The Hillel students and our director are also very
familiar with our campus, including courses and professors, and can be
of real assistance in many informal ways in enhancing student life.
Hillel
at Loyola is also a part of The Hillels of Illinois network of
cross-campus programs that involve Jewish students from throughout the
Chicagoland area, the state as well as the Midwest. And, in
conjunction with International Hillel, we send students to Israel for
free, to the former Soviet Union, Europe, South America, etc. on
special service trips, and to national student conferences throughout
the United States.
We
invite you to be a part of all this. By joining our Hillel
listserve, you will learn about our many programs. Email Hillel
director Patti Ray at pray@luc.edu to join the listserve. Also, please stop by Hillel and introduce yourself to her and the other members of Hillel!
Hillel's office is located in Mundelein Center-Room 821. Mundelein Center's address is 1020 W. Sheridan Road, Chicago, IL, 60660. Our phone number is 773-508-2193.
