The entire Loyola community is excited to welcome you to campus for your 1870 Orientation program this summer! Our 1870 Orientation program will be your first opportunity to connect with your future classmates and begin building community at Loyola. You will learn how to navigate the many resources and services in place to assist you with your academic career, and meet with an advisor and register for your classes. We will also introduce you to the values and traditions that will enrich your Loyola experience from now through graduation. 1870 Orientation will give you a glimpse of all that Loyola has to offer when you arrive on campus this fall.

Freshmen Students

  • June 6-7^
  • June 10-11^
  • July 12-13
  • July 15-16^
  • July 18-19
  • August 1-2
  • August 21-22*

Transfer Students

  • June 18
  • July 9
  • July 30
  • August 6
  • August 9
  • August 13
  • August 16

 *All Honors program students, Quinlan Business Honors program students, and International students will be required to attend this session.  All students participating in this session will take part in online advising for class registration in the summer.

^Students auditioning for applied music lessons or taking the music theory placement exam should attend one of these dates. Those who wish to audition should send in the application for Applied Lessons before they audition. The application can be downloaded here, and sent to music-info@luc.edu.

Registration for your 1870 Orientation program will begin in early May.  To register for orientation, please log into you Application Status Page at www.luc.edu/undergrad/myaccount. From here you will receive updated information and the registration link to register for orientation after you have deposited.
