First-Year Program
Welcome to Loyola!
The Discover Loyola team of faculty, staff, and students are eager to welcome you to campus for summer orientation. Discover Loyola is a dynamic and engaging introduction to everything you need to know to succeed during your first year at Loyola. Each step you take through our day-and-a-half orientation program brings you closer to becoming a Loyola Rambler and will prepare you for life at Loyola.
Discover Loyola is fun and informative. You will get a successful start to your academic life, meet with an advisor, and register for your courses. You will connect with the community, talk with upper-classmen, and spend the night in a residence hall (on a single-gender, fully-secured floor). You will learn about the extensive resources Loyola has to offer, and meet the staff and student assistants committed to caring for you as a new first-year student. Most importantly, you will become a part of the Loyola family! Start to get to know some of the students, faculty, and staff with whom you will learn, work, and play during the next four years.
