Institute of International Education Invites At-Risk Scholars to Apply for Fellowships
Do you collaborate with an international scholar in another country?
The Institute of International Education invites qualifying scholars to apply to the Scholar Rescue Fund, which provides fellowships of up to $25,000 and health insurance to professors, researchers, and public intellectuals from any country, field, or discipline whose lives or careers are threatened in their home countries.
The fellowships support temporary academic positions at universities, colleges, and research centers anywhere in the world. Fellows are expected to teach, do research, or publish at host institutions. Applications and nominations are accepted at any time during the year on a rolling basis and will be considered three times per year. Emergency applications may be considered out of cycle if a candidate's circumstances do not permit waiting for the next cycle.
