Announcement – Changes in Expedited Review Procedure
The IRB pleased to announce changes to its Expedited Review Procedure. All protocols will be now be reviewed on a rolling basis (as they are received). Investigators will receive a decision within 15 business days of the date of submission of the protocol. Since all protocol applications will now be reviewed when they are submitted, there will be no more deadlines for submission of applications for Expedited Review. Submissions are encouraged at anytime by investigators.
It is the goal of the IRB to provide investigators with an efficient, fair review system that will facilitate investigator research.
