Balancing School & Family
I chose Loyola for several reasons: I received my Bachelor's degree from Loyola in 2002, so I was familiar with the University, I liked the rigor of the curriculum, and the paralegal program at Loyola is ABA approved.
Did you find the curriculum flexible?
Yes, I had a family while I was in school and the flexibility of the program allowed me to balance my classes and my time with my family.
Did you take advantage of the optional internship?
The internship gave me a more realistic view of what my career would be like. It prepared me for the constant interaction with various levels of a law firm environment. It also allowed me to experience a different area of law other than litigation.
What did you think of the career assistance?
I did a lot of networking within the Loyola community. I utilized the job board. The job placement assistance is top notch. All three of my friends had job offers by the time of graduation.
