Quality, Flexibility, & Support

Why Loyola?

For almost 20 years, Loyola paralegal graduates have been in high demand among legal employers. Students at Loyola learn specific practical skills in a competency-focused post-baccalaureate curriculum approved by the American Bar Association.

Seven foundation courses provide a basic knowledge of legal practice, and three concentrations offer advanced instruction in Civil Litigation, Corporate/Commercial Transactions, or Corporate/Real Estate. Our electives present opportunities to explore various legal topics: Intellectual Property (two courses), Immigration Law, Environmental Law, Employment Law, and Estates, Trusts & Wills.

Institute courses emphasize the technological skills required in today’s law offices, including the extensive use of online resources and several popular software programs. Some courses are available in blended or online format, using videoconferencing software.

So why choose Loyola as the place to earn your Certificate in Paralegal Studies? Quality curriculum and faculty, flexibile scheduling, and excellent, individual support in your job search from Institute staff.
