The Campaign for the Future of Loyola

Volunteer opportunities

Give of your time, your skills, and yourself

As a Catholic, Jesuit University, serving the greater good is part of our identity and an integral aspect of our mission. We strive to instill a generosity of spirit in all of our students, faculty, and staff: but the opportunity to give of yourself and your time doesn't have to end with a degree.

The University extends an invitation to all of its alumni and friends to give of your time, talent, and skills to those in need. Loyola offers countless ways to get involved, either with the University itself, or with other community and non-profit organization around Chicago.

One way for alumni to help is to participate in the Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK) volunteer network. The goal of ASK is to connect alumni mentors with Loyolans seeking job or career-related advice.

When you register as a mentor through ASK, you will have the option to volunteer in one or more of these capacities:

  • Act as a career mentor to students and other alumni
  • Serve on a panel for career networking events
  • Conduct practice interviews for students and other alumni
  • Come into our classrooms as a guest expert about your career path
  • Recruit and hire interns for your company

For more information about the ASK program, or for other opportunities, please visit our Alumni Association page, call 312.915.7660, or e-mail luc-alum@luc.edu.
